As for the future... If We strip Them of Their single tool to power (money in any form), tech will be a boon not a bane. But We must get free energy tech out in the open to so that. As You say, We swim in energy and the tech is there - in Their hands, because adding free energy makes accounting for Our energy added into a system (money) pointless.
And They surely do NOT want to lose Their tool to power.
And as for "projection..." Not sure what use having such knowledge is. I don't think it helps Us in solving for the psychopaths in control...
I will say though that the ONLY reason I am online, using much of any tech at all, is to work for Humanity in solving for the moneyed psychopaths in control. I offer a novella showing what it will look like when psychopaths no longer are in control and We are ALL living richly:
Technology will destroy all life...Then, the Mindless Moneyed will be gone, too. It 's amazing that they can't see the planet is going, while they use its resources to being about its more rapid demise.

I suggest that like any tool, tech can be useful and dangerous. But when We get free energy flowing, the point of money will vanish.
